Ruthless in Reedley

FRESNO - If you find yourself in Reedley, Calif., appearing in the town's only courtroom, don't say you weren't warned. Signs on the door list the many things forbidden in Superior Court Judge Fred Dupras' courtroom, such as tank tops and conversations with defendants. Signs inside the courtroom warn that anyone talking to prisoners is subject to arrest, and that anyone "causing noise audible in the court" will be charged with contempt.
