Supervisor Plans Guilty Plea in Corruption Case
SAN BERNARDINO - A high-profile bribery case against an embattled San Bernardino County supervisor is coming to an end with a plea deal. Supervisor Jerry Eaves, who faces federal and state charges for allegedly accepting Las Vegas vacations and campaign contributions as trade for favorable votes on an expensive billboard project, plans to plead guilty to one charge of conspiracy in the state case, federal prosecutors and Eaves' attorney said.
