Judge Keeps U.S. Out of Chevron Lawsuit
SAN FRANCISCO - U.S. District Judge Susan Illston has rejected a request by ChevronTexaco Corp. to ask the federal government if a human rights lawsuit would disrupt American relations with Nigeria.
Illston said that the company could raise the issue later, however.
