Court OKs Filing of Sealed 'Pitchess' Motions

SANTA ANA - A state appellate court Tuesday gave defense attorneys the right to file sealed Pitchess motions, saying the ruling balances the need of criminal defendants to keep attorney conversations secret with the need of police officers to keep personnel files private.
