Indio Judge Handles Complex Issues Well

INDIO - Judge Michele D. Levine was immersed in a complex murder trial last year when she found out the defendant's former wife had died. The situation prompted Levine to do something unusual: She cleared the courtroom and let relatives of the man, who was deeply saddened by the death, comfort him.
