Panel Vacates Meth Dealer's Sentence
SAN FRANCISCO - Invoking the Supreme Court's Blakely decision, a split 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals vacated the sentence of a convicted methamphetamine dealer Wednesday, saying the enhanced term was not proved to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt.
