Appellate Court Orders Value of Priest Claims Indefinitely Sealed

LOS ANGELES - In a move called shocking and unconscionable by attorneys for the media and alleged victims of clergy abuse, an appellate court has ordered the indefinite sealing of an order by a trial court judge assessing the likely value of 90 claims of abuse if they were presented to a jury.
