6th Circuit Tosses Sentence Rules
WASHINGTON - The Cincinnati-based 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday became the second federal appeals court to rule that the Supreme Court's decision in Blakely v. Washington invalidates the federal sentencing guidelines, broadening a circuit split on the issue.
