'Rojas' Doesn't Resolve All ADR Confidentiality Issues
Focus Column - Alternative Dispute Resolution - By June Lehrman - In its second decision interpreting the parameters of California's mediation confidentiality statute, the state Supreme Court has given mediation confidentiality a strong endorsement. Rojas v. Los Angeles Superior Court, 2004 DJDAR 8387 (July 12, 2004). The high court overturned an exception to mediation confidentiality that had been carved out by the 2nd District Court of Appeal.
