LOS ANGELES - Attorney Allen Lindell Cleveland Jr. died Thursday after a brief battle with cancer in Houston. He was 71. Cleveland, a former senior vice president and general counsel of oil company Conoco, served as of-counsel to Fulbright & Jaworski after his retirement from the company in 1988.
