AOC Head Replacement Process Slow

One month after state Administrative Office of the Courts' Director William C. Vickrey announced his decision to retire in September, Cantil-Sakauye hasn't many any plans to find his replacement.

SACRAMENTO - Come this fall, California Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye may find herself without a right-hand man (or woman).


One month after state Administrative Office of the Courts' director William C. Vickrey announced his decision to retire in September, Cantil-Sakauye hasn't made plans to find his replacement.


No search committees have been announced, no call for applicants....
