LOS ANGELES - A federal judge set a trial date of late August in the case of prominent trial lawyer Pierce H. O'Donnell who faces allegations he violated campaign finance law.
According to the indictment, O'Donnell allegedly spent as much as $26,000 reimbursing employees of his firm who had contributed to John Edwards' presidential run in the 2003 Democratic Party primary election. ...
