Building Inspectors Arrested for Bribery

Two Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety inspectors were arrested Friday on federal bribery charges for allegedly taking thousands of dollars to approve construction work without properly inspecting it.

LOS ANGELES - Two inspectors from the city's Department of Building and Safety were arrested Friday on federal bribery charges for allegedly accepting thousands of dollars to approve construction work without properly inspecting it and in some cases without even visiting the sites.
