Another State Courts Official Steps Down
Associate Appellate Justice Richard Huffman will step down from the state Judicial Council, effective June 30, following 14 years of serving on the judiciary's governing body.

SACRAMENTO - Appellate Justice Richard Huffman plans to step down from the California Judicial Council, after 14 years on the judiciary's governing body.
He is the latest in a string of high-level resignations by top state courts officials, starting with last month's announcement that William C. Vickrey, director of the Administrative Office of the Courts, will retire in September.
