SAN FRANCISCO - Gerald D. Marcus, a founder of San Francisco mainstay Hanson Bridgett LLP and longtime advocate for diversifying the legal profession and abolishing the death penalty, has died. He was 93.
Marcus died Friday after a brief illness following circulatory collapse, according to his son, Greil Marcus.
