Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. turned to Sullivan & Cromwell LLP for its $5.7 billion hostile acquisition of Cephalon Inc.


Los Angeles partner Alison S. Ressler and New York partner Keith A. Pagnani are leading the Sullivan & Cromwell team for the takeover bid. Lawyers at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates in New York are advising Cephalon.
