Defense Calls Expert to Testify on Childs Death

SAN DIEGO - The first defense witness in the trial of a day-care operator accused of shaking a 13-month-old boy so violently it led to his death said Tuesday that any shaking and even coughing could produce similar results if an earlier injury is involved.
