Ruling May Aid California Cities Suit Against Gun Makers

SAN FRANCISCO - In the duel between California and the weapons industry, the side with the guns has evidently taken an early hit. One day after San Francisco and Los Angeles sued firearms manufacturers, distributors and trade associations last week, a federal judge in New York gave the West Coast plaintiffs' cause an apparent boost with a ruling in another gun case.
