City Council Authorizes $1M to Settle Three Cases

The Los Angeles City Council has settled a case for more than $163,000 in which a federal judge had awarded just $20,000 to the plaintiff, a Los Angeles police lieutenant. The additional $143,000 covers attorney fees.
