Widow Claims Deputies Wrongly Killed Husband

The estate of a man who was fatally shot by sheriff's deputies has filed a $2 million claim against Los Angeles County. The claim filed Friday on behalf of the estate of Ricardo Close by his widow, SanJuana Close, contends that sheriff's deputies violated his civil rights Feb. 23 when he was shot even though he was a threat to no one.
