Sailors Sentenced in Beating Death in Ecuador

SAN DIEGO - The case against two servicemen accused of beating to death an Ecuadorian hotel clerk came to a close Thursday when a military jury sentenced one of the defendants to 30 days' restriction and a forfeiture in pay of $500 a month for two months.
