ACLU report criticizes realignment of criminal justice system

In a report, the ACLU slams the state for allowing its criminal justice realignment plan to operate with little oversight and for allowing counties to focus on increased incarceration instead of more rehabilitative initiatives.

The American Civil Liberties Union slammed the state for allowing its criminal justice realignment plan to operate with little oversight, according to an advanced copy of a report set to be released today.
