Small claims actions hold value for consumers
A reader responds to "Class actions - a device for the greater good?"
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR COLUMN
Brian Kabateck and Evan Zucker miss the point of bringing the small claims actions. ("Class actions - a device for the greater good?" March 15). The attorneys have killed the golden goose. On the same page, there is a story of a judge calling a plaintiff's claim "absurd" for crying foul when consumers are required to give their ZIP codes when making a credit card purchase at the gas pump. ("Chevron wins summary judgment in ZIP ...For only $95 a month (the price of 2 article purchases)
