Another effort to extend expiring renewable energy incentives failed in the U.S. Senate Tuesday.
An amendment proposed to be added to a transportation bill that would have extended the Production Tax Credit and revived a federal cash grant program was defeated. The amendment would also have renewed incentives for biofuels and provided tax credits for developers of energy efficient products.
