Economic espionage defendant drops lawyer

An Orinda man accused of economic espionage against DuPont is dumping his well known criminal defense lawyer .

An Orinda man accused of economic espionage against DuPont is dumping his well known criminal defense lawyer and searching for another. In a filing Tuesday, Thomas J. Nolan of Nolan, Armstrong & Barton LLP in Palo Alto told a federal judge that his client, Walter Liew, wishes to retain new counsel in the indictment against him.
