Ex-KB Home chief could see probation end early

The judge who downgraded sentencing of former KB Home CEO Bruce Karatz from prison to probation is considering granting even more leniency for the disgraced corporate executive.

LOS ANGELES - The judge who downgraded the sentence of former KB Home CEO Bruce Karatz from prison to probation is considering granting even more leniency for the disgraced corporate executive.


U.S. District Judge Otis Wright has asked the U.S. Probation Office to consider terminating Karatz from supervised release more than three years ahead of schedule, according to a court filing last week.
