Hinton Alfert Sumner & Kaufmann has closed its doors, with the seven lawyers going in three separate directions.

The plaintiff-side personal injury and employment law firm Hinton Alfert Sumner & Kaufmann in Walnut Creek has closed, with the lawyers going in three separate directions.


Name partner Peter Alfert said the breakup of the seven-lawyer firm, official Friday, was amicable, giving "everybody an opportunity to do different things."
