Orange County Judge Faces Scrutiny by CJP

Commission on Judicial Performance to inquire into allegations of ticket-fixing against Orange County judge.

LOS ANGELES - The Commission on Judicial Performance announced Monday it will conduct a formal hearing regarding allegations Orange County Superior Court Judge Salvador Sarmiento violated the Code of Judicial Ethics by allegedly seeking preferential treatment in the processing of his wife's traffic ticket.
