Attorney sentenced for baby selling

A prominent attorney specializing in reproductive law, who pleaded guilty last year to participating in a baby-selling ring, was sentenced Friday to federal prison.

SAN DIEGO - A prominent attorney specializing in reproductive law, who pleaded guilty last year to participating in a baby-selling ring, was sentenced Friday to federal prison.

Theresa Erickson, 43, of Poway will serve five months behind bars followed by nine months of home confinement. She also was fined $70,000.
