Two Fronts, One Merger
Meryl K. Chae and Mike Beinus led the Skadden team in representing Newport Beach-based REIT Nationwide Health Properties Inc. in its $7.4 billion acquisition by Ventas Inc.
The combined company has more than 1,300 properties across North America.
Among the challenges, Chae said, "were a lot of nuanced complexities involved in merging these two companies that became one of the largest publicly traded REITs."
