Experience and bias, there’s a difference
A reader responds to "Governor's bank regulator an insider."
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR COLUMN
In regard to the Feb. 8 Associated Press article, "Governor's bank regulator an insider": The headline suggests a conclusion that is not proven. Jan Owen was employed to do governmental affairs and advocacy work for the banking industry. That makes her knowledgeable about the issues facing consumers and the industry, but it does not make her an "insider." Is everyone with industry experience an "insider" (and assumed biased)?
