There are now three hopefuls seeking a bench seat left vacant by a retiring judge in Alameda County, according to the office of the registrar.
San Francisco attorney Andrew R. Wiener is planning to run against Alameda County attorney Tara M. Flanagan, and Oakland attorney Catherine Haley, in the June 5 elections for judgeships across the state.
