Accord OKs Escrow Earning Credits

SANTA ANA - An Orange County judge has signed a settlement agreement between the Escrow Institute of California and the state Department of Corporations - two entities which had been at odds over whether independent escrow firms could receive noninterest benefits from banks in exchange for services.
