Probate Referee Marlene Stein Succumbs to Cancer
Marlene Gail Stein, a probate referee for the Superior Court of California for 24 years, died Monday of cancer. She was 63. Stein taught elementary school for almost 15 years before beginning her work for Superior Court in 1975.
