Water Providers Cannot Be Sued For Pollution

SAN FRANCISCO - Private companies supplying water to residents of the San Gabriel Valley - much of which constitutes one of the nation's largest Superfund sites - cannot be sued by people who claim they were made sick by the contamination, a state appellate court has ruled.
