Hayes: Attorneys Already Paid 'Reasonable Fee'
SANTA ANA - The court-appointed officer in Orange County's bankruptcy filed a formal opposition Monday to a bonus request by Hennigan, Mercer & Bennett - an action coming less than a week after the Los Angeles law firm filed a motion in federal court to tack nearly $50 million onto the $26 million salary it has already earned for representing the county in the bankruptcy.
