Achieving balance

The northern end, focused on neighboring Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill, was the prestige location, while the southern end, with San Ramon and the Tri-Valley cities of Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore, was for upstarts. Today the latter has caught up to the former, according to local brokers, with equal rents, equal status - and equal traffic congestion.
