Board Gives Preliminary OK to Ban of Gun Sales

After hearing impassioned pleas on both sides, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to give preliminary approval to an ordinance banning the sale of guns and ammunition on county property, a move prompting the call for a lawsuit by the president of the nation's largest gun show.
