L.A. May Drop Key Aspect of Profiling Study
LOS ANGELES - The city of Los Angeles may abandon a major aspect of a racial profiling study of its police officers, violating one of the key terms of the consent decree the city reached with the federal government after the Rampart scandal, the ACLU charges.
