Parents Rip Military's Selective Recruitment of Poor Students

LOS ANGELES - Criticizing the U.S. military for a "poverty draft," a group of Los Angeles-area teachers, parents and students on Tuesday condemned what they said is the selective recruitment of low-income students, and they demanded information about military enlistment efforts on public high-school campuses.
