High Court Rules Title IX Protects Male Coach, Too
WASHINGTON - A divided U.S. Supreme Court expanded the scope of a landmark gender-equity law Tuesday, ruling that a male coach who complained about discrimination against his high-school girls' basketball team is protected from retaliation under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972.
