Court Agrees to Weigh California Capital Sentencing Issue
WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to review a California death-penalty case to determine whether the state Supreme Court erred in upholding a death sentence for a Kern County man even after it set aside two aggravating factors that jurors weighed when sentencing the man to death.
