South Gate Nears Settlement With Sheppard

LOS ANGELES - The city of South Gate is nearing a global settlement with Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton over the firm's $1.5 million legal bill to defend a former city treasurer now indicted on federal corruption charges, according to sources on both sides of the negotiations.
