Writer Fails By Viewing Juveniles in Vacuum

Letters to the Editor - William Becker's column, "Sometimes, Execution Is Best for Worst of Worst, Even Young Killers" (March 9 Daily Journal) demonstrates many of the problems with the death penalty. Mr. Becker describes testifying in the penalty phase of a capital case only to be called back years later to do it all again because the case had been reversed due to misconduct by the prosecutor.
