Jury Hits Dealership with Big Award

A jury Tuesday hit a San Diego Ford dealership with a $14.5 million judgment for performing a shoddy tire repair that caused a conversion van to lose control and kill a husband and wife in 2006.

A jury Tuesday hit a San Diego Ford dealership with a $14.5 million judgment for performing a shoddy tire repair that caused a conversion van to lose control and kill a husband and wife in 2006.


The Superior Court award against Mossy Ford goes to the three surviving young sons of Casey and Melanie Barber, who died in the rollover crash on a rural Arizona highway.
