Support Children's Rights: Shop for Makeup
Sephora brings more to the holiday season than glittering nail polish and festive red lipstick. On Dec. 9, the Century City location, in partnership with Holland & Knight's L.A. office, hosted "Holiday Shopping for a Cause" to benefit The Alliance for Children's Rights. More than 100 people spent nearly $18,000, including $500 worth of raffle ticket sales for items donated by members of the firm. Holland & Knight coordinated similar fundraisers with Sephora locations across the country, including shop for charity events in Chicago, Jacksonville, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale. The event is the brainchild of the firm's Women's Initiative Program, which promotes the recruitment, retention, and advancement of female attorneys at Holland & Knight.
