Recent political developments have increased the likelihood of California football teams relocating. In November, San Diego residents rejected Measure C, which would have increased the hotel tax to fund a downtown stadium for the Chargers. Meanwhile in Nevada, Gov. Brian Sandoval signed a law increasing the Las Vegas hotel tax to raise $750 million for a stadium to lure the Oakland Raiders.
