U.S. Pre-Clears Kings County's Election Plans

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday removed two more obstacles to California's recall election when it approved Propositions 53 and 54 for placement on the Oct. 7 ballot and "pre-cleared" the election plans of Kings County.
