Ousted San Francisco Judge Is Seeking Reappointment

Former Superior Court Judge Thomas Mellon Jr., who lost his seat in an election last year, has applied for a judicial appointment with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's office.

SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco County's Superior Court might not have seen the last of ousted Judge Thomas Mellon Jr.

Mellon has applied for a judicial appointment with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's office after being defeated for his seat in November by termed-out San Francisco Supervisor Gerardo Sandoval in a deeply political race.
