Judge Grants Bail to Ex-Cop in Pellicano Case

A former Los Angeles police sergeant convicted alongside ex-Hollywood private eye Anthony Pellicano could be released from jail soon, after a federal appeals court reversed a lower court's decision to jail the ex-cop immediately because he presented a flight risk.

LOS ANGELES - A former Los Angeles police sergeant convicted alongside ex-Hollywood private eye Anthony Pellicano could be released from jail soon, after a federal appeals court reversed a lower court's decision that the ex-cop presented a flight risk while his appeal was pending.
